Shouldn’t there be slutty costumes for men too?!?

When a guy wears a funny or creative costume for Halloween he’s applauded, but when a girl does it people are like “Haha, what a dork.” The only costumes society and the media say is acceptable for us are the slutty ones.

I think men should wear slutty revealing costumes too! It’s not fair. I know it’s tough, that’s just how it is for women, but I’m just saying there should be some for men too, it would be interesting.

My local bar has karaoke on Thursdays and Fridays and on Halloween you have to sing a song that goes with your costume. I’m trying to get some ideas early on.
I’ve considered the following so far:

Last minute Halloween costume for 3 year old girl?

It needs to be homemade please, nothing with a box. She will be 3 next month, she is kind of short for her age. She could be a hula girl (I have a grass skirt, flower necklaces, and a half top). She could also be a farmer (bandanna, overalls, plaid shirt, stuffed pig or cow, straw hat). Or she could be a cheerleader in my old uniform which I would have to pin up to fit her correctly, it would be a little big for her. Her two older brothers (5, and 2) are going to be punk babies. She is very girly girl. She can either match them or not, either way is fine. It also needs to be easy to make!

Okay, so there is three of us, 2 boys and me- a girl. I’ve been looking for a while and I’ve already gotten these and I don’t like ‘em!: Alvin and chipmunks, Mario bros characters, toilet + toilet paper + plunger, Wonder pets, Claw game and stuffed animals, Mrs. Pacman and ghosts, Candybars, Three blind mice, Three pigs ,Ghost busters, Alice and wonderland characters, the 3 kids from nightmare b4 christmas, 3 muskateers, 3 amigos. Halloween Costumes Ideas to go with other characters?

My friends and I want to all go as character’s from story-books and movies (non-Disney) and need help for our 4th friends costume.
So far we have Little Red Riding Hood, Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, Alice (in Wonderland) and we need a 4th.

Mom etiquette question, birthday party!?

I’m starting to plan my son’s 1st birthday. I don’t want to do it at home, our house is small and not a lot of kids/parents can fit… so I was thinking I’d do it at the zoo in my hometown. The party package includes 8 kids and 2 adults. Children under 2 are free.

I’m going to have a pretty wide age group, mostly my friends kids (who I spoiled rotten in the past), so I feel the zoo would be fun for all of them. Plus, my son’s birthday is around Halloween, so I may do a costume party, so the kids can dress up (fun, right?? or no?)

Quite honestly, I want everyone to have fun, but I don’t make nearly as much as I used to and money is tight with a new baby. I can’t afford a huge party, but don’t want to offend everyone. I moved out of the small town, and most of my old friends, while still nice, think I make a ton of money. I don’t, I pay a lot more to live in the city, and I think they got used to me footing the bill for everything when I went home.

What I’m wondering is if it would be rude to ask the parents, in a nice way on the invitation, that if they want to come in, they pay their own admission. I’m inviting siblings too, so no one feels left out, and they do get discounted admission for a party. I’m providing a pizza lunch, cake, admission for the kids, and a “behind the scenes” animal session. Is it wrong to ask the parents to pay if they want to come in too? I have no problem providing lunch for them too…

church activity for halloween? its a read and answer must!?

Every year on Halloween, my church has an activity for all the elementary children called Hallelujah Night. It’s a great time to make kids happy and just to enjoy all the wonderful things that God has done for them. Now, we are Christians and we encourage them not to wear costumes and go trick-or-treating.(Sorry if this offended you.) I am 13 and the Youth Group and teachers all set this up for the kids. So of course we cant dress up. They said we can only wear like angel halos or bunny ears, ETC. I was wondering where I can get bunny ears? Does Target have bunny ears? I don’t think I can go to Party City. If you know where I can get them, answer this and please give me a picture too!

Walking down Parker Street at twilight alone, seemed a bit frightening to Lily, considering it was a horrible city, not to mention at the break of dawn. The air was rowdy; autumn colored leaves were blowing in every direction causing Lily to block them from hitting her face. Lily was dressed as a school girl for the Halloween party, she was hoping there would be someone she knew, she wouldn’t want to devote her Friday to being alone for the next three hours in a building. The hall was rent for the cause, all the money get received would go to charity.

“Name?” Ethan Fitch spoke. Ethan was one of Lily’s fellow classmates.

“Ethan, you’ve known me for years.” She looked confused.

“That’s no exception, Lily Beals! Name?” He spit.

“Lily Beals,” She rolled her eyes in exasperation.

Then, a girl dressed in a wild zebra pattern approached Ethan, followed by two girls with frizzy waist length hair, with 80′s styled rounded horn rimmed spectacles. One was taller than the the other.

“Name?” Ethan spoke.

“Marietta Mason, Casey Fitzgerald, and Cora Fitzgerald.” The girl with the zebra print declared. Lily recognized Marietta and Casey, and she soon did the same for Cora, Casey’s younger sister from grade 6A.

“Hello.” Casey pushed her glasses up her nose.

“Hey, I didn’t know you were coming.” Lily said with a half smile trying to sound social.

“I didn’t arrange too– I was doing Cora’s makeup all day, and I had nothing better to do.” She looked straight ahead tapping her fingers on her lap.

“Well, ‘wanna wait in line to go in the haunted house,” Lily tried to talk to her. “I heard some kid had a seizure, then someone else wet themselves!” She snickered.

“Are you suggesting we go and make fun of them?” She looked disgusted.

“No! Of course not! I was just thinking that we could–”

Lily was cut off.

“Very well,” She sighed, folded her arms then was in the long line along with her sister and Marietta. Then a girl in a wizard costume, followed by three boys came. Lily automatically recognized the two boys as Jared McCoy and Kai Mathews– the last people she wanted to encounter.

“Beals, what the hell are you?” Jared made a face as if he just tasted something very bitter.

“A school girl, and you are..?” She tried to ignore them.

“I’m Kai.” Kai gave a goofy smirk.

“Your costume is horrifying,” Lily looked at him. “Hasn’t anyone told you you’re not suppose to wear your homely Halloween mask all year long?”

“If we wanted to be homely,” Jared spit, “We would have been you, Beals on Wheels!” He pointed at her.

For about the next forty-five minutes, they were all talking about random things, finally it was their turn to get into the lift.

“I’ll go in front,” Declared Jared, “I’m not scared!” He looked arrogant.

“Pleasure,” Casey rolled her eyes.

Jared was in front, followed by Marietta, Jeanette, Cora, Lily, Kai, then Casey.

The gang were biting their lips, except Jared who’s arrogance was now starting to get annoying.

They took their first step out, and Lily heard someone yell, “OW!” then a bam. Without thinking, a brink felt like it sunk to her stomach, and she grabbed Kai’s hand. Then once she realized what she was doing to released. In the corner of her emerald eyes, she saw a person in a clown suit with a plastic knife in pain. Jared punched the clown!

“Get out!” A lady who worked there yelled, and Lily took one step back into the elevator.

“You owe me a dollar!” Casey slapped Jared in the back of the head.

wear can i find a teen cinderella costume?

i’m 12. im being dead cinderella forr halloween, and my friend is being dead snow white. wear can i find a cinderella costume that will fit me? the kid ones at party city are too small. and the adult ones are too big and expensive. i’m 5’2 and my body is average. the price needs to be no more tan $30.00. THANKSSS.
